Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients' history while determining the most suitable treatment modalities.

• Develop personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, incorporating resilience-building techniques that empower patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through the process of trauma exploration, coping strategies, and emotional healing.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery and address client needs holistically.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, showcasing calmness and expertise in high-stress situations.

• Educate clients and their families on understanding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to uphold the highest standards of trauma-informed care and contribute to service improvements.

• Stay updated with the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary clientele includes individuals dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. We work with a diverse range of patients, each facing unique challenges rooted in their trauma experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey.

• An understanding of trauma-related disorders and knowledge of trauma-informed interventions is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
