Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with patients. As part of our team, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring you meet the needs of your clients. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility depending on patient availability and needs. While our office is based in Reading, PA, our telehealth services enable us to reach individuals in various locations, making your role essential in expanding access to critical mental health care.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma background and determining the most effective treatment strategy.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at guiding patients on their journey toward trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support patient recovery efforts.

• Facilitating engaging individual and group therapy sessions that focus on processing trauma and equipping patients with coping mechanisms to foster healing.

• Collaborating effectively with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive, integrated care for every patient.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support during instances involving trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on trauma reactions, coping strategies, and resources available to them.
\n
• Documenting all patient interactions accurately and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.

• Participating in case consultations and regular team meetings to enhance the quality of care provided within our trauma-informed framework.

• Engaging in continuous professional development to remain current with the latest research, treatments, and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by traumatic experiences. This includes children, adolescents, and adults who have encountered various forms of trauma. You will play a pivotal role in their recovery processes, helping them navigate the complex emotional responses associated with trauma and establishing healthy coping mechanisms to improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, showcasing previous work in trauma-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
