Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and tailor appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma while developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available to them.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient case management.

• Engage in ongoing training and professional development activities, including case consultations and team meetings, with a specific focus on trauma-sensitive practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, ranging from PTSD to complex trauma narratives and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
