Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements while maintaining accountability and productivity. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, though we recognize the importance of adaptability and may accommodate varying schedules based on patient needs. This flexibility ensures our therapists can provide care in ways that respect both their time and the requirements of our multifaceted patient population.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments, taking into account patients' unique cultural backgrounds and personal histories to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness strategies, and other modalities tailored to the distinct needs of each patient.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a variety of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to trauma and relational issues, fostering resilience and recovery.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergency situations, utilizing strong clinical judgment and de-escalation techniques to assist individuals in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their journeys towards wellness.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training sessions to continually enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and evolving cultural considerations in mental health therapy to ensure the highest levels of care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• Demonstrated deep understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and the significance of cultural competence in therapeutic settings.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy within diverse populations, employing culturally responsive methodologies.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the capacity to manage high-stress situations while remaining composed and effective.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the formation of rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and general computer applications for record-keeping and communications.

• A steadfast commitment to professional boundaries, ethical standards, and maintaining client confidentiality.

• A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working within a community health clinic or similar setting is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based therapy practices is preferable.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote therapy delivery will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
