Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities in this role will include:

• Delivering therapeutic interventions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) across individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

• Maintaining thorough documentation that complies with local and federal regulations, ensuring proper treatment plans and outcome assessments are recorded within required timelines.

• Participating in weekly supervision with the clinical director or lead therapist to support your ongoing development and licensure goals.

• Contributing to program-specific initiatives, including Depression Recovery and OCD/Anxiety treatments.

• Actively engaging in continuing education sessions and professional training provided by Advocate Aurora to enhance your skillset and ensure adherence to best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse group of clients, including children, adolescents, and potentially adults, depending on your interests and available training opportunities. Your expertise and dedication to patient care will directly influence their mental health and well-being, providing critical support during challenging times.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, you must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related mental health field.
\n
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience in a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience\n

We strongly prefer candidates who have specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, treatment of substance misuse, or trauma-informed care.
