CPA Senior Tax Director

Providing strategic leadership for tax matters, the full-time remote CPA Senior Tax Director will oversee direct and indirect taxes for a $12B integrated health system, manage a team of seven, and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations. Key responsibilities Oversee all federal and state tax filings, including tax-exempt and taxable subsidiaries Lead tax-related financial audits and reporting, ensuring compliance and efficiency across the enterprise Collaborate with finance teams and management to develop strategies for minimizing tax liability and enhancing operational processes Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field; accounting degree preferred Master's degree in Tax is preferred Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required At least seven years of tax experience, preferably in healthcare or public accounting Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
