Badger State Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to manage day-to-day accounting functions. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, managing customer billing and collections, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting inventory account within Sage 100. 

Key  Responsibilities: 

• Match, code, and enter vendor invoices, bills, and freight charges into Sage 100 accurately and in a timely manner 
• Perform three-way matching (Purchase Orders, Receiving Tickets, and Vendor Invoices) for equipment, farm supplies, and replacement parts 
• Schedule and execute vendor payments via check, ACH, or credit card in Sage 100, ensuring maximum utilization of vendor discounts 
• Communicate with suppliers and equipment manufacturers to resolve invoice discrepancies, billing issues, or credit terms 
• Maintain organized vendor files, tax forms (W-9s), and year-end 1099 processing within Sage 100 
• Utilize Sage 100 inventory, sales order, and purchasing modules to cross-reference transactions and ensure accurate General Ledger (GL) posting 
• Streamline warranty processing between shop operations, clients, and vendors to ensure timely reimbursements, accurate credit memos, and proper AP/AR reconciliation 
• Perform general office administration and financial support tasks to maintain seamless daily operations and cross-departmental workflow

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications: 

• Associate Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on AP/AR experience  
• Tech-savvy individual with a strong aptitude for learning new software
• Demonstrated proficiency as an intermediate user of Microsoft Excel and Outlook 
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy 
• Strong time management and organizational capabilities 
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines
