Highlights Location: Hackensack, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop and coordinate a patient/family-focused plan of care. Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes. Adhere to established protocols and document events accurately. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required. BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire. Experience: Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in New Jersey required by date of hire. BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
