Title: Sr. Linux & Storage Backup Engineer
Location: Cary, NC (Onsite)
We are looking for a Senior Linux & Storage & Backup Engineer with strong experience in enterprise infrastructure, backup solutions, and Dell EMC Data Domain .
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers in enterprise environments.
- Administer storage infrastructure, including capacity, performance, and availability.
- Manage enterprise backup and recovery operations.
- Hands-on experience with Data Domain and enterprise backup solutions.
- Monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure backup/recovery SLAs.
- Perform incident, problem, and change management activities.
- Support disaster recovery, backup policies, and data protection initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL/CentOS/Oracle Linux).
- Experience with enterprise storage technologies such as SAN/NAS.
- Hands-on experience with Dell EMC Data Domain .
- Experience with enterprise backup tools such as Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, or similar .
- Knowledge of backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery.
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
Experience
Relevant experience in Linux, Storage, and Enterprise Backup environments.
