A growing law firm based in the Denver area is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join its expanding team. The attorney will work fully remote with the only in-person aspects of attending court and monthly firm meetings at the office. The firm focuses exclusively on family law matters and has built a strong reputation. The firm handles a wide range of family law matters, with a primary focus on divorce, child custody, legal separation, and related family law disputes. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who thrives in litigation, values autonomy, and is seeking a flexible, remote work environment. Candidates must have 2+ years of family law experience and live in the Denver area to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage a family law caseload from intake through resolution
• Handle litigation matters including hearings, mediations, status conferences, and trials
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements
• Advise clients on divorce, custody, child support, and separation matters
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes efficiently when appropriate
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and opposing counsel
• Appear in court as needed for hearings and contested matters

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active Colorado Bar license in good standing
• Direct family law experience required
• 2+ years of family law experience
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and case management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Compensation

• Salary dependent on experience
• Expected range of $130,000 – $220,000+
