Public Finance Intern

About the Role As an Americas Public Finance (APF) Intern, you will support senior analysts in evaluating the credit quality of organizations in APF, including states, municipalities, school districts, charter schools, colleges, hospitals, housing agencies, public power and municipal cooperatives, transportation entities or utility providers. Your responsibilities include aggregating data, researching for publications or special projects, drafting presentations, and preparing internal and external reports. Responsibilities Support the team during the analytical process Conduct research and prepare materials for meetings Assist in the collection and analysis of large data sets for various projects and thought leadership Participate in meetings as needed Qualifications Strong interest in a career in finance, business, law, government, and/or public policy Available to work full‑time, in person, for six weeks beginning the week of July 7th Creative and fearless, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong verbal and written communication skills Indefinite right to work in the United States Compensation and Benefits Base salary range: $19,000 – $25,000. Final salary depends on geographic location, experience, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. This role does not include an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan. Work Location and Conditions All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of two days per week.
