Overview Senior Accountant (consolidations) @ Public Company — this role focuses on financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting within a high-visibility corporate accounting environment. Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr This position is with a publicly traded sports consumer packaged goods (CPG) company, operating globally with a strong track record of growth. The team member will work closely with finance leadership, FP&A, and external auditors. Key Responsibilities Assist with the monthly and quarterly consolidation of financial statements across multiple subsidiaries and business units Perform and review intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translations, and consolidation journal entries to ensure proper financial statement presentation Assist with the preparation of 10-K, 10-Q, and other SEC filings, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements Conduct monthly and quarterly variance analysis on consolidated financial results, identify trends, and work with FP&A to provide insights Act as a liaison between corporate and international finance teams to ensure accurate reporting Identify opportunities to streamline consolidation processes, improve data integrity, and enhance reporting efficiencies through automation Assist with the annual financial audit, preparing supporting documentation and coordinating with external auditors Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or CPA track highly preferred 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting or public accounting (Big 4 or large regional firm preferred) Experience with financial consolidations and intercompany transactions Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Retail and Sporting Goods Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Coda Search│Staffing by 2x.
