Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a temporary basis for a rehabilitation and medical/surgical unit in Omaha, NE. In this role, you will provide direct patient care and support to individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and provide education to patients and their families. Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being, and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Qualifications Active RN license in the state of Nebraska Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a rehabilitation and/or medical/surgical setting BLS certification Strong clinical and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Shift Night 6:45pm-7:15am If you are a dedicated and skilled RN looking for a temporary opportunity to make a positive impact on patients' lives, we want to hear from you.
