Description Position Title: Working Supervisor (Non-Exempt) Employment Type: Full‑Time Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 (commensurate with experience) Probationary Period: Initial 90 days of employment Position Summary The Working Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day site operations, actively participating in cleaning tasks, and ensuring staff performance meets company standards. This non-exempt, full‑time position reports directly to the Management Operations Manager and covers stores within a specified geographic area (must reside in the assigned area). Duties & Responsibilities Ensure all employees clock in and out daily using the eHub (Timekeeping Portal). Verify personnel coverage and coordinate with team members to address staffing gaps. Maintain store working hours visibility throughout the day. Supervise field personnel, providing a supportive environment and motivating team members to perform at a high level. Build stronger customer and team relationships while maintaining and increasing customer service standards. Retain and grow staff through training and development. Effectively train all employees and team leads on full job responsibilities. Prioritize OSHA safety and take necessary actions to maintain compliance. Handle staffing needs through advertising, training, scheduling, and discipline when needed. Complete, submit, and communicate all required forms, reports, and paperwork related to staffing, maintenance, and management of each job site. Recruit for open positions by posting, interviewing, and selecting candidates. Oversee completion and timely submission of new hire paperwork, including compliance documents. Maintain a safe and orderly work environment. Model the company’s values, code of conduct, and ethical standards. Understand, anticipate, and shape client expectations. Conduct daily store visits, with a minimum of three visits per day. Follow up on issues at other stores until resolved. Communicate with store management and the client regarding daily opportunities. Verify completion of assigned work and ensure scope is met. Monitor project activities and ensure on‑time, on‑budget completion. Manage operational performance using Team Software (E‑Hub), overtime, headcount, and other metrics. Perform site quality inspections using client SCOPES standards. Provide performance documentation to management. Communicate time‑sensitive issues such as injuries or HR matters. Ensure supplies, chemicals, and equipment are available at each job location. Manage purchase of supplies and equipment for resource optimization. Attend daily, weekly, and quarterly planning and communication meetings. Coordinate with client store facilitator and technicians daily. Perform other related duties as assigned. Restrictions No audio headphones during working hours. Must wear a uniform T‑shirt and present a Virtual Badge ID. Must wear closed shoes at all times. Supervisory Responsibilities Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Be able to bend, kneel, and reach required areas. Supervise team leads, store custodians, and housekeeping personnel. Ensure all field personnel have received required training. Monitor and inspect stores to ensure compliance with cleaning procedures. Required Experience Full knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and mobile applications. Experience with time‑keeping and payroll mobile apps. Minimum one year supervisory experience in the janitorial or cleaning industry. Authorized to work in the United States. Bilingual Spanish (preferred, not required). Reliable transportation. Availability to travel. Availability to work overnights and weekends. Skills Mobile and time‑keeping application proficiency. Oral and written communication skills. Organization, planning, and reading skills. Time management and computer literacy. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or related experience. Prior supervisory and/or management experience preferred. Requirements for the First Day of Work Must have the mobile app ready to clock in at the start and end of the shift. Must be available to work overnights, weekends, and holidays (including blackout dates from the second week of November through the second week of January following the New Year).
