Machine Operator (Plastic Injection Molding)

Surestaff is immediately hiring machine operators for a customer plastics injection molding position in Lititz, PA. The plastic injection molding machine operator will manage the entire molding process including equipment set-up, reading and following specifications, and inspecting molds, and delivering finished products to end-user for delivery. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available rotating shifts include day and night. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator (Plastic Injection Molding)

• Set-up and operate injection molding machines, vision systems, down-stream equipment, and material feed equipment.
• Monitor process parameters on the injection machines and secondary systems.
• Safe, accurate, and timely executive of tooling changeovers per work instructions.
• Set up and adjust assembly, auxiliary, and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot molding problems including but not limited to flash, short shots, dimensional issues, etc.

Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator (Plastic Injection Molding)

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
• Previous plastics injection molding experience a plus.
• Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
• Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
