*BARISTA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED*

At Carmela Uptown Boca we rely on our team enhance the customer experience with their unique personality and strong work ethic. This position is for a Barista who will be cross trained (back and front of house) that can take on many tasks and offer support where it is needed. Being flexible and able to work alone and in a group environment is crucial.

Tasks include, but are not limited to preparing and serving food and drinks, monitoring stock, maintaining overall shop cleanliness and organization, following food safety guidelines, taking customer orders, etc.

Our ideal Team Members are open to learning, friendly, efficient, responsible, organized, and of course,  team players! Healthy workplace culture is very important to us.

Qualifications:

• Must be available Monday - Sunday between the hours of 6:30 am - 9:30 pm.
• Barista experience REQUIRED.
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Possess strong organizational, cleanliness and multi-task skills.
• Ability to adapt to a team-work oriented workforce.
• Be able to accept and follow direction and guidance from management.
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register or POS systems.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
• Willing to learn.
