The Role We’re looking for a skilled Architectural Drafter to join our in‑house design team and help bring Avimor’s homes to life from concept through construction. This isn’t a generic production role — you’ll be working on homes that range from thoughtfully designed mid‑size residences to fully custom builds, each one tailored to the stunning foothills setting that makes Avimor unique. You’ll work closely with our design team to produce accurate, detailed construction documents and collaborate across departments to make sure every drawing is clear, coordinated, and ready to build from. What You'll Do Produce detailed architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction documents Develop and modify residential home plans across mid‑size to custom home sizes Coordinate drawings across disciplines to ensure consistency and accuracy before plans go to the field Revise plans per project feedback, permitting requirements, and builder markups Manage drawing files and maintain organized project documentation What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an architectural drafter specifically in residential homebuilding Hands‑on experience with both mid‑size production homes and custom home projects Strong understanding of residential construction methods, building codes, and permit documentation Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple drawings simultaneously Ability to take direction from markups and sketches and turn them into clean, buildable sets Required Software Proficiency in all three programs is required: AutoCAD Revit We work in a fast‑paced environment where switching between tools is part of the daily rhythm, so comfort and speed in each matters.
