Director, Growth Strategy & AI Enablement

The successful candidate will be employed by the confidential client. This is a senior, client-facing strategy role for a commercially minded professional who can help growth-focused organisations strengthen performance, improve customer engagement, and identify practical, responsible applications of AI-enabled workflows. You will help organisations identify where stronger customer engagement, better operating workflows, data-informed decisions, and responsible AI adoption can create meaningful commercial and operational value. What You’ll Do Lead defined growth-strategy and AI-enablement engagements from discovery through recommendations, implementation planning, and progress review. Assess commercial priorities, customer engagement opportunities, operating workflows, and relevant performance indicators. Develop practical growth strategies, business cases, roadmaps, and success measures that support measurable improvement. Identify, evaluate, and prioritise responsible AI-enabled use cases across relevant content, customer insight, planning, operations, decision-support, and workflow-improvement activities. Facilitate virtual workshops, strategic discovery sessions, planning meetings, and occasional in-person client discussions. Translate complex stakeholder input, data, and business context into clear recommendations, decisions, and accountable next steps. Partner with senior client stakeholders and internal teams to align commercial, customer, operational, and technology priorities. Support teams to adopt agreed initiatives and AI-enabled workflows responsibly, with appropriate attention to privacy, confidentiality, quality, brand standards, human oversight, and applicable policies. Establish relevant KPIs, performance measures, and reporting rhythms to monitor progress and refine priorities. Build trusted relationships with client leaders and cross-functional teams while creating momentum around high-priority initiatives. Strategic discussions result in practical decisions, accountable owners, and measurable next steps. AI opportunities are assessed for business value, feasibility, risk, and operational relevance. Client teams can apply approved AI-enabled workflows responsibly and effectively. What You’ll Bring Demonstrable experience in growth strategy, commercial strategy, business strategy, consulting, transformation, customer experience, digital transformation, innovation, or a related client-facing discipline. Strong commercial judgement and the ability to connect strategic priorities with measurable business outcomes. Experience developing strategic recommendations, roadmaps, business cases, operating plans, or transformation initiatives. Confidence working with senior stakeholders and facilitating workshops, discovery sessions, presentations, and decision-making discussions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritisation, and programme-delivery capability. Practical understanding of AI capabilities, generative AI, workflow enablement, adoption considerations, and responsible implementation principles. Ability to use relevant performance information, customer insight, and business context to identify priorities and recommend action. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make complex commercial and technology topics clear to varied audiences. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with client and internal teams. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
