DutiesThe incumbent to the position will be responsible for the overall management, implementation, coordination and monitoring of the Division's maintenance management improvement program, MMIP/FEM.Serves as a central focus and coordinator for all incoming and outgoing system wide FEM problems and changes.Serves as principal contact with the national MMIP/FEM Community of Practice (CoP).Establishes Division wide standards for MMIP/FEM use, responsibilities, sets expectations, and manages assigned projects, budgets, and schedules, assuring that Division-wide commitments are met within the constraints on human and financial resources.Provides recommendations and policy guidance to Chiefs of Operations on short-term and long-term plans to assure the sufficiency of a District's MMIP/FEM program.As Regional MMIP/FEM Program Coordinator identifies regional training needs and associated costs.Works with National MMIP/FEM CoP and MVD Asset Manager and MVD AM CoP to integrate asset condition and preventative maintenance data that is stored, scheduled and monitored within the MMIP/FEM system with the automated Asset Management programs.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentAppointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.All qualification requirements, including time-in-grade and time after competitive appointment, must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
