Responsibilities Assess health status and needs; interpret data and provide preventive care. Use a systematic approach to deliver individualized, goal‑directed nursing care. Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of patients. Formulate nursing care plans based on diagnoses and identified problems. Implement nursing care within scope of practice and applicable laws. Develop and implement teaching plans to promote health and self‑management. Provide education, emotional support and age‑specific care to patients and families. Manage care for multiple patients (direct care or delegated to team members). Qualifications Graduate of an accredited professional nursing school. BSN required within 24 months of hire if hired after 6/1/12. Minimum two years critical care (ICU, PCU) experience within the last three years. Ability to care for ICU, PCU and Med‑Surg patients as requested. Ability to assume charge responsibilities and duties. Current RN license in Texas or active Texas Compact License.
