Our Systems Engineer team takes escalations from the Systems Specialist team and interface with vendors, primary contacts and the clients' IT Staff. The Systems Engineer role troubleshoots at the server and application levels often affecting the client's entire environment. Systems Engineers are tenacious in problem solving and take pride in bringing tough issues to a final and effective resolution in quick fashion.

Candidates must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and technical expertise while supporting our customers’ networking infrastructure, servers, hardware, and line of business applications. Supported networks will be Microsoft-based both on customer sites and hosted customer environments in our datacenter.

\n

\n

Qualified candidates will be self-motivated, multitasking, pro-active individuals who demonstrate the ability to go beyond text-book training to anticipate and prevent typical problems, as well as quickly and intuitively solve new problems.

• Troubleshoot live production server environments
\n
• Business application troubleshooting
\n
• Incident resolution
\n
• Understanding and troubleshooting problem/incident
\n
• Documenting resolution of incident
\n
• Determining incident root cause
\n
• Making recommendations and defining action plans
\n
• Mentoring Sharing Best Practice knowledge and lessons learned
\n
• Assisting and providing guidance to peers
\n
• Assisting in the improving the overall customer service experience

You’re Good at:

• Technical and analytical work

You Have:

\n

\n
• Managed Service Provider experience a must
\n
• Certifications in Windows, Dell, VMware and Fortinet topologies is highly desired
\n
• 5+ years currently working in a core technical area
\n
• 8+ years' experience in an IT department
\n
• Experience troubleshooting general network topologies
\n
• Experience with site-to-site field work
\n
• Experience with the following technologies: Microsoft RDS, Microsoft Windows Client, and Microsoft Server
\n
• Operating Systems, 3rd party business applications
\n
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
\n
• Excellent professional communication skills including excellent oral and written skills
\n
