Make a positive impact supporting students' communication needs in a vibrant educational setting near Saint Louis, MO. This contract-based opportunity is ideal for a motivated SLP or SLPA looking to provide on-site services in a supportive environment dedicated to flexible, student-centered care.

In this role, you will work 37.5 hours per week, primarily stationed at the elementary level within a dynamic school district. The position may involve assisting across one or two campuses, depending on evolving needs. You’ll manage a caseload that includes approximately 3400 service minutes, with a notable focus on supporting non-verbal students utilizing AAC devices. The district prioritizes adaptability, so candidates open to changing caseloads and settings will thrive here.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license required
• Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Competence in supporting non-verbal students, especially those using AAC devices
• Flexibility to adapt to shifting caseloads, student needs, and potential campus changes
• Strong collaborative and documentation skills
• Ability to complete all district credentialing promptly, including fingerprinting and required forms

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students, including those with significant communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
• Provide support or coverage at additional schools as needed
