Role Description The Food Server is a part-time, on-site role located in Avon, OH, responsible for delivering attentive and efficient table service in the club's dining and event spaces. Day-to-day tasks include greeting guests, presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders, and delivering items in a timely and accurate manner. The Food Server will answer questions about offerings, coordinate with kitchen and bar staff, and ensure tables and service areas are clean, organized, and properly set. The role also involves processing payments, adhering to food safety and club standards, and supporting special events such as banquets, outings, and private functions. Consistent, friendly interaction and a professional appearance are expected to maintain the club's service standards. Qualifications Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide courteous, attentive, and professional support to members and guests. Experience with food & beverage and food service operations, including basic serving techniques and familiarity with menu items. Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, coworkers, and supervisors in a fast-paced environment. Basic cooking or kitchen familiarity is helpful for understanding menu preparation and coordinating with culinary staff. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, carry trays, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Previous experience in a restaurant, club, or hospitality setting preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is an advantage.
