Most Senior Tax roles have you preparing returns. This one puts you at the center of your clients' financial lives.
A highly respected wealth management and advisory firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its New York team. This is far more than a traditional tax compliance position—you'll serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals and families, working across tax planning, financial administration, business management, and complex financial matters.

What you'll do:
- Prepare and review complex individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns, including multi-state filings
- Develop tax projections and planning strategies for high-net-worth clients
- Respond to tax notices and assist with audits
- Conduct tax research and support special projects
- Review payroll tax filings and other information returns
- Assist with business management, financial administration, and concierge-style financial services
- Review financial statements, cash flow reports, budgets, and financial plans
- Collaborate closely with attorneys, financial advisors, and other professionals supporting client needs
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships while managing engagements from start to finish
What they're looking for:
- 5–7 years of public accounting or wealth management tax experience
- Strong experience serving high-net-worth individuals and family offices
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's in Tax is a plus)
- CPA preferred; CFP is a plus
- Experience with CCH Axcess Tax and QuickBooks (Desktop & Online)
- Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset
