Cardiovascular Ultrasound Tech II - IP Full Time Morristown

Responsibilities Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations following established protocols to verify, plan, set up, perform, and report appropriate examinations. Verify patient identity, provide education, and ensure safety. Assist in continuing quality assurance and performance improvement. Complete clerical tasks associated with ultrasound tests, record all testing information accurately, promptly report critical results following policy, and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. Communicate with physicians, patients, and other center personnel in a pleasant and informative manner. Provide recommendations to supervisor on duties, policies and procedures. Enhance teamwork: demonstrate motivation, enthusiasm, accountability; problem solve; seek assistance when needed; mentor and develop others. Maintain work area clean and orderly; assist with lab opening/closing procedures; clean and maintain equipment per infection control policies. Identify personal learning needs; attend in‑services and departmental meetings; seek increased proficiency; suggest new, efficient techniques and processes. Qualifications Registry through CCI or ARDMS. Training/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Skills & Activities Excellent interpersonal skills; effective verbal and written communication. Basic proficiency with computer system.
