Job Summary Job Title: Foreman Reports to: Branch Operations Manager Location: Dayton, OH / Monroe, OH / Cincinnati, OH Employment: Full-Time / Non-Exempt / CBA Salary: Up to $37.25/hr. Includes paid health insurance at no cost to the employee, paid pension and annuity, a company vehicle and gas card, a company cell phone and email, one week of paid vacation per year, a yearly performance‑based bonus, and overtime when available. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage, implement, and install assigned structured cabling projects or other assignments from Operations Managers. Interface with Construction Managers, Owners, and Direct Customers during installation. Adhere to Job Specifications and issue proper Change Orders if necessary. Coordinate with field supervision and Operations Managers to determine material release, preventing overages or shortages. Develop and implement project timelines and milestones to track actual versus estimated hours and materials used. Document and track all Change Orders on individual projects until closure. Schedule, direct, supervise, and communicate effectively with the direct labor force. Ensure all company assets—including vehicles, test gear, tools, and computers—are maintained and used properly. Manage labor allocation by tasks, duration, and efficiency as outlined on the Project Labor Forecast Sheet. Supervise, support, train, and develop field personnel for future advancement within the company. Enforce company policies (dress code, cell phone usage, safety, etc.). Maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Qualifications BICSI Technician Certified. OHSA 30 certified. Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel. Logical and systematic troubleshooting abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Strong work ethic and reliable time management. Professional demeanor in all interactions. Quick learner who works well both independently and in a team. Valid Driver’s License. Physical Demands The job requires regular walking, use of fingers and hands, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, standing, and occasional sitting. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The role requires commuting to field locations and various job sites, necessitating navigation of job site environments. Work Environment The work environment may be outdoors and exposed to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical and electrical parts, high or precarious places, dust, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, sunlight, cold and heat, and electrical shock or vibration risks.
