We care for you. Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our team at Aadobe Animal Hospital in Staten Island, New York. The ideal candidate will provide high‑quality veterinary care and build lasting relationships with our clients. Aadobe Animal Hospital is a caring, comprehensive practice dedicated to cats and dogs with preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, dental health, and client education. We are an AAHA Certified Hospital. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work‑ups Communicate and educate clients Perform diagnostic procedures and surgery Maintain accurate medical records Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance protocols Promote teamwork and staff efficiency Collaborate with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities and expectations Evaluate and monitor protocols for daily hospital operations from intake to discharge Monitor cases and attend daily rounds when possible to ensure high standards Participate in practice management updates and training at all levels Perform other duties as assigned by Management Required Qualifications Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university Current state veterinary license DEA registration maintained Minimum 1 year of veterinary practice experience Strong diagnostic and clinical skills Excellent surgical and dental skills Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to compassionate and high‑quality care Effective communication with medical, hospital staff, and clients Physical ability to handle moderate demands and lift up to 50 pounds Preferred Qualifications Advanced clinical knowledge in cardiovascular, respiratory, orthopedic, neurological examinations Problem‑solving skills for high‑quality hospital management Effective communication of diagnostics and therapies to clients and staff Professionalism and constructive feedback engagement Business acumen related to veterinary practice finances Ethical decision‑making knowledge Commitment to continuing education and mentoring others What We Offer Competitive salary and production bonus (no negative accrual) Signing, retention, and relocation packages up to $100,000 Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid parental leave (birth, adoption, foster) 401(k) with discretionary contribution Team member pet discounts Emotional wellbeing support (Calm app, 24/7 EAP) CE stipends and career development resources Grant Circle relief fund for personal hardship Local hospital culture backed by national resources Pay Range
