Job Title

Registered Nurse – PACU

Location

San Francisco, CA | Inpatient PACU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–6:30 PM with occasional flex to later starts if needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions
• Apply knowledge of airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management in a fast-paced PACU environment
• Deliver critical-care nursing interventions and respond to changes in patient condition
• Maintain flexibility to orient and work across multiple medical center locations as needed
• Complete required compliance modules during pre-start and annually as directed

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of submission)
• AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum two years of recent RN experience in Critical-Care Nursing (within the past five years)
• Minimum one year of inpatient PACU experience
• BSN degree required
• Prior travel nursing experience within the past 12 months required
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required; proof must be provided at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPAN or CCRN certification
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting
