We’re exploring new ideas and opportunities –innovating to discover the breakthroughs necessary for tomorrow’s growth.Job Summary:The Quality Manager oversees the administration and continual improvement of quality management systems.Additional Info:This role is located in Lafayette, IN and does not offer relocationThis role is 1st shiftThis role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedulesThis role requires up to 15% domestic travelWhat You Will Do: Supporting development of quality assurance strategies, processes, guidelines and control plans which assure quality and reliability of manufactured products.Leading the development and implementation of corrective action and preventive measures to achieve quality targets.Investigating and addressing trends with internal and external non-conformance.Leading, managing and developing multiple teams, team leaders, quality specialists and inspectors to assure that quality standards are met.Developing and reviewing reports to review with quality assurance, production, management, and engineering personnel to solve quality issues.What You Have (Required Skills): Quality Management System (QMS): Knowledge of Quality Management System's (QMS) functions, features, and capabilities; ability to design, implement, test, and maintain Quality Management Systems to consistently meet customer requirements and regulatory compliances.Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):Experience with PowerBI and PowerAppsPrior leadership experienceWhat You Will Get:Through it all, we are one team– creating and delivering world-class components and solutions superior to the competition.Learn more about the Caterpillar Experience.Summary Pay Range:$89,210.00 - $133,810.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
