Product Support Specialist

Position: Product Support Specialist – Abbott Point of Care (APOC) Division – Princeton, NJ (onsite only) Job Overview Your primary role is to provide direct technical support to internal and external customers for the APOC product portfolio, responding to inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high-quality service. You will work with cross‑functional teams, maintain the Quality System, document complaints, identify trends, and participate in on‑call rotations. Responsibilities Answer inbound customer calls and emails promptly and courteously. Respond to customer inquiries, analyze complaints, and provide troubleshooting solutions. Document complaints per Quality standards and maintain the Quality System. Identify and communicate product issue trends. Support organizational goals through cross‑functional work. Participate in on‑call rotation activities during weekends and holidays. Follow EHS rules and report incidents or unsafe conditions. Assist with administrative and tactical tasks as assigned. Contribute to department goals and resolve customer technical concerns. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma. Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience supporting product support. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in chemical, biological sciences, biomedical engineering, or laboratory science/medical technology. Prior experience in the medical device industry, product support, clinical, or medical laboratory. Proficiency with CRM and complaint handling software. Basic problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong customer focus with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to address customer concerns in real time.
