Job Description

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician for our printing plant team in Eagan Minnesota. You will install diagnose repair and perform preventative maintenance on production machinery on our Core Print Solutions team. You will work across departments and shifts solve problems that fall outside standard procedures and manage multiple tasks with minimal oversight.

Location: Eagan Minnesota
Schedule: 3rd shift 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM
Compensation: $2500 sign-on bonus after 90 days

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose machinery malfunctions and perform repairs
• Communicate repair status to operators supervisors engineers and managers
• Reconcile work assignments at the end of each shift
• Perform lubrication procedures and electro-mechanical inspections for preventative maintenance
• Maintain troubleshoot repair rebuild and replace auxiliary components such as motors gearboxes servos electrical switches and sensors and mechanical drives
• Read interpret and comprehend simple to complex technical information and blueprints to complete repairs fabrications or modifications
• Operate machine shop and material handling equipment as needed
• Identify and solve problems that may require nonstandard solutions
• Prioritize and complete multiple tasks with minimal management oversight
• Collaborate with teams and staff across departments and shifts

Required Qualifications

• 2-year technical college degree or equivalent experience
• Computer literacy
• Competence with volt/ohmmeter dial indicator micrometer lathe milling machine hand tools hoists jacks and test equipment
• Working knowledge of air hydraulic and vacuum systems
• Ability to weld braze and solder
• Competence in basic diagnosis of electrical components such as switches sensors detectors and motors

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations unless otherwise noted the base compensation range for this role is $58100 USD - $107900 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individuals knowledge skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
