Supervisor Station (Field Desk)

Under the direction of the Superintendent on duty, the selected candidate will be responsible for working within District.

The responsibilities will include, but not limited to transmitting, receiving, responding and coordinating emergency calls/ conditions using various emergency communications systems; communicating with Field Supervisors and Leadership; and updating various database system. The selected candidate will also be responsible for creating, maintaining and completing incident reports in a timely manner as well as timely communication of incident activity to Operations Control Center.

Station Supervisors who have one (1) year in title.

A motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York with no restrictions, which would preclude the performance of Supervisor (Stations) work. This license must be maintained for the duration of employment.

Working knowledge of NYCT rules, regulations and operating procedures

Excellent customer service skills

Knowledge of Hexagon EAM System

Knowledge of subway system and NYC Landmarks

Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Teams and Access)

Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle a high volume of phone calls

Excellent writing and communication skills

Excellent operating and attendance record

Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience and interview.
