Reservationist / Packer / Expeditor

Residence of Mr. Moto is a Japanese dining concept from AYS Hospitality Group, offering elegant kaisendon, sushi, and Japanese comfort dishes inspired by traditional home cooking. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized team member to join our front-of-house operations as a Packer / Expeditor / Runner .

This is a hybrid role that supports both guest communications and service operations, ensuring a smooth experience for both dine-in guests and delivery orders.

Reservations & Guest Communication

• Manage reservations through platforms such as Resy and respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and messaging.

• Confirm reservations, communicate restaurant policies, and assist guests with special requests.

• Maintain accurate reservation notes and guest information.

Order Packing & Delivery Coordination

• Carefully pack takeout and delivery orders to ensure accuracy, presentation, and quality.

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and dispatched efficiently.

• Communicate with delivery drivers and platforms when necessary.

Expediting & Service Support

• Act as the liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house team during service.

• Verify order accuracy and timing before dishes leave the kitchen.

• Maintain organization and flow during busy service periods.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required

• Familiarity with reservation systems Resy is helpful but not necessary
