Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite within the comforting atmosphere of our clinic located in Gainesville, Florida. Clinic hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible work schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' needs, establishing tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing their mobility and function.
• Manage a patient caseload, typically one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated and focused therapy sessions to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Implement cost-effective treatment solutions that prioritize non-invasive methods, reducing reliance on medication and surgical interventions.
• Utilize a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and specialized exercise programs, to optimize patient recovery.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation, encouraging them to actively participate in their treatment and pursue a healthy lifestyle.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately within our EMR system (WebPT), ensuring compliance and maintaining clear communication.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals when necessary to deliver comprehensive patient care and address all aspects of the patients' needs.
• Regularly evaluate treatment plans, adjusting approaches based on monitors of progress to ensure continuous improvement in patients' health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on treating patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. You will work closely with individuals of all ages, from adolescents to older adults, and will tailor your treatment interventions to cater to the unique requirements of each patient, fostering their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A master's (MPT) or doctoral (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in utilizing manual therapy techniques and designing customized exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is essential for effective documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, granting you the insight and skills necessary for this patient demographic.

Compensation and Benefits
