Full-Time Physical Therapist in Outpatient Rehabilitation

Easy Start Therapy, Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our skilled team in Gainesville, Florida. This role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week and offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually. We are looking for a professional who has expertise in outpatient orthopedics, with a preference for candidates with experience in spinal rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to restore mobility and function.
• Make independent clinical decisions in response to the unique circumstances of each patient, ensuring timely modifications to treatment plans as needed.
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of clinical practices and legal regulations governing therapy in a post-acute care setting.
• Proficiently teach and demonstrate therapeutic exercises and techniques to patients, ensuring they are equipped to continue their rehabilitation at home.
• Engage with patients' family members and caregivers to provide education on ongoing care strategies, fostering a holistic approach to patient healing.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting progress and adjustments to treatment protocols in compliance with best practices.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborative treatment strategies.
• Uphold all professional standards and confidentiality regulations, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both staff and patients.
• Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, to support documentation and communication needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapists primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions, particularly focusing on spinal health. We serve a diverse patient population, including individuals of various ages and backgrounds, all seeking to enhance their physical function and quality of life. The therapist in this role will have the opportunity to make a significant difference by facilitating each patient's journey toward recovery and improved physical independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BSPT), Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT), or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Active and unrestricted physical therapy license in the state of Florida, with a commitment to maintaining good standing throughout employment.
• Current CPR certification, obtained within the onboarding process if not already held, with a preference for candidates who maintain certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedics, ideally with specialized knowledge or experience in spine rehabilitation.
• Previous work in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting is highly desirable, as is familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
