Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and craft tailored treatment strategies
• Implement therapeutic interventions that focus on mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional improvement
• Work cohesively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and necessary home exercises
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with facility expectations and regulatory standards
• Engage in multidisciplinary team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure comprehensive care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are an advantage, though not essential
