The unit cares for a broad range of adult medical-surgical patients , making this an excellent assignment for nurses who enjoy variety and want to continue building strong acute-care skills.

Patients are eligible for telemetry monitoring, which is managed by central monitor technicians , allowing bedside nurses to focus on direct patient care while collaborating closely with the telemetry team.

Experience

• 2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred
• Med/Surg experience required
• MS/Tele experience
• Telemetry experience
• Epic experience required
• Rapid Response experience
• Insulin management experience

Travel Experience

First-time travelers are accepted!

Travel experience is not required , making this a great opportunity for an experienced staff RN looking to begin their travel nursing career.

On-Call: PRN for low census
Floating: May be required within scope to like units/sister facilities
Block Scheduling: Can be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed

Flex: 1:7 when an unexpected staffing absence cannot be covered

Guaranteed Hours

The facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks .
