Business Systems Analyst

Requirements

• 8 or more years of experience in technical business analysis and software requirements engineering.

• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Modern Requirements for backlog management and traceability.

• Experience with business process re-engineering, workflow mapping, and system modernization initiatives.

• Experience in authoring user stories, use cases, and Software Requirements Specifications (SRS).

• Experience with Joint Application Development (JAD) facilitation and structured stakeholder elicitation.

• Experience in designing UI/UX wireframes, screen mockups, and case management workflow models.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate JAD sessions and stakeholder interviews to analyze core business processes and system pain points.

• Translate complex functional needs into concise user stories, use cases, and formal SRS documents.

• Manage requirements traceability, baseline specifications, and change control within Modern Requirements and Jira.

• Design interactive wireframes and screen mockups aligned with modern UX standards.

• Collaborate with software engineering and architecture teams throughout the full development lifecycle.

• Verify requirement fulfillment and support testing validation for major application rewrites and enhancements.

• Mentor junior business analysts on elicitation methodologies and standardized documentation frameworks.
