Responsibilities Assign labor force to appropriate tasks in line with efficient crewing needs and contractual requirements. Ensure that all process and quality specifications are followed in shipping and receiving of scheduled components. Monitor shipping results and ensure budget rates are exceeded. Maintain detailed knowledge of process and equipment to achieve optimum efficiency. Ensure shift employees are adequately trained in necessary process procedures. Hold or participate in monthly safety meetings with shift employees to communicate the importance of safe work practices and enforce safety rules. Administer labor contracts, plant rules and handle appropriate discipline. Continuously strive to improve process, equipment and procedures. Encourage shift employees to improve processes. Understand and enforce procedures related to safe handling of hazardous materials and instruct subordinates accordingly. Be trained on all applicable SOPs, LOPs, policies and procedures. Skills & Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of education/experience. Experience and demonstrated success in a leadership position requiring accomplishment of standards or goals through subordinates. Strong communication skills. The specific salary offered may be influenced by a candidate’s experience, education and work location. This position also offers performance bonus and variable incentive compensation.
