Your day as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant

As a Full-Time Expanded Duty Dental Assistant at CareSouth in Baton Rouge, you will engage in semi-technical dental and routine clerical work essential to the smooth operation of our dental department. This role involves assisting the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff. You will be responsible for conducting cleanings, sterilizing instruments, and arranging them meticulously for procedures. Additionally, you will assist the dentist with x-rays, contributing to accurate diagnoses and patient care. Your expertise will not only enhance the quality of services we provide but also foster a caring atmosphere that aligns with our core values of empathy and integrity.
