Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Rotating Schedule)

Key Responsibilities

✅ Support the Quality Lead and Operational Quality Manager in ensuring product quality and operational excellence.

✅ Follow all company policies and procedures, including:

• cGMP requirements
• ISO standards
• Health & Safety regulations
• Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Standard work instructions

✅ Read and interpret:

• Engineering drawings
• Specifications
• Technical manuals
• Test procedures and inspection documentation

✅ Perform inspections and quality testing on materials and finished products to ensure compliance with customer and company specifications.

✅ Analyze test data, complete calculations, and document findings accurately.

✅ Review and approve lot documentation while ensuring compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

✅ Collect and evaluate samples for testing and quality verification.

✅ Compare product characteristics such as color, shape, texture, and material quality against established standards and reference samples.

✅ Utilize precision measuring equipment, including:

• Calipers
• Micrometers
• Gauges
• Force gauges
• CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
• Optical measuring systems

✅ Identify, document, and communicate quality issues and recommend corrective actions.

✅ Prepare and complete:

• Nonconformance Reports (NCRs)
• Rework Instructions
• Deviation Reports

✅ Accept, reject, or segregate materials and products based on inspection results.

✅ Perform additional duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

✔ Previous Quality Inspection experience preferred

✔ Experience working in a cleanroom or regulated manufacturing environment is a plus

✔ Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

✔ Comfortable reading technical drawings and specifications

✔ Experience with measuring and inspection equipment

✔ Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
