They confirm your dates, that you worked there 1+ year, and that your supervisor was an RN or LPN. Only people with no experience at all start at $16.THE STATE TESTOhio law says all Home Health Aides must pass a competency test. Two parts: written questions and skills you demonstrate. 80% on both parts. Both happen in person at our Cuyahoga Falls office — we find a time that works for you. Passed this test at another company? Show us results with 80% or higher and you skip it. One thing we ask: our nurse drives to the office just for your test — nothing else. We take that seriously. STNAs skip the test entirely. Your license — active or expired — is all you need.WHAT HOME HEALTH AIDES DOYou visit people in their homes and help with everyday tasks. Mostly older adults. Baths, getting dressed, making meals, light cleaning, running errands, keeping them company. This is physical work — you help people move around and you're standing most of the day. If you need help doing these tasks, tell us. We can talk about what might work.
