Location: Chester County, PA (Local or nearby candidate only within 30 mile radius)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Only W2 candidates (USC or GC)
Job Description
We are seeking a System Administrator to manage and support our network, server, and desktop technologies. This role ensures reliable system performance, security, and user support.
Installs and supports server and desktop technologies for the centralized division and/or facility equipment (including operating system maintenance, application maintenance, data archive).
Manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues.
Implement security measures and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
Provide technical support to end-users and IT staff.
Collaborate on integration of new technologies.
Maintain clear documentation of systems and procedures.
Availability for off-hours support as needed.
Identify and implement infrastructure improvements.
Required Skills
Bachelor's in Computer science field preferred.
4+ years of systems administration experience required.
Proven experience working as an IT infrastructure analyst or similar role.
Manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
Experience with server operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux.
Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
A good understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
