Validation Engineer

Job Title: Validation Engineer Location: Cupertino, CA 95014/Sunnyvale CA 94085 Duration: 5 Months In this role you will be responsible for setting up and running data gathering and performance tests on first-party and third-party hardware as part of validating touchscreens. Put your creativity, hardware background, programming, and problem solving skills to the test in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Design and assemble accurate test systems including development boards and standard bench‑top lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, meters and function generators. Characterize and validate electrical systems in product applications. Document, analyze, and communicate test issues and processes. Required Qualifications Experience with hands‑on test execution, characterization, and/or board‑level validation. Familiarity with noise mitigation, including shielding and grounding, in making small‑signal measurements. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency with lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators and spectrum analyzers. Working knowledge of macOS, Numbers, Pages, Keynote and Microsoft Excel and Word. Meticulous organizational skills. Ability to work with engineering teams to root‑cause failures. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with consumer hardware products. Experience with Python script execution. Able to move equipment up to 25 lbs as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
