North Star Electric is seeking an experienced and reliable Electrician who has experience overseeing electrical installations on multi-family residential projects. The Electrician will supervise all crew members, communicate with contractors and sub labors, and ensure all work meets electrical standards while completing the job on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of helpers on job sites
• Plan, layout, and install electrical systems according to blueprints and specifications
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues
• Coordinate daily work activities and assign tasks to team members
• Ensure job sites comply with safety regulations and company policies
• Communicate progress, challenges, and material needs to management
• Train and mentor helpers
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
• Interact professionally with contractors, and inspectors

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience, including leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Valid driver’s license and pass a driving background check
• Must be willing to travel

• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficient with electrical tools, testing equipment, and safety procedures
• Be able to operate heavy machinery
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift 50+ pounds, work outdoors in all weather conditions
