Supervisor II, Clean Room

Merit Medical seeks a Supervisor II for clean room manufacturing operations in Richmond, VA. This day-shift role oversees production teams assembling medical devices, manages personnel activities, and ensures quality standards and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assign work orders to production teams and oversee completion against specifications
• Supervise production workers, conduct performance reviews, and manage hiring and staffing changes
• Maintain clean room standards and coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure product quality
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing methods and evaluate production performance metrics
• Train production staff on methods, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related field
• Minimum three years supervisory experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods and ability to read production drawings and specifications
• Strong analytical skills to identify process improvements
• Demonstrated computer proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, and databases
• Ability to train employees and communicate effectively with production teams
