Where Is The Work Field-based: Work is conducted on-site at customer locations. What You Will Do Commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, end‑to‑end testing, troubleshooting and servicing assigned projects. Documenting point‑to‑point verification, sequence of operations validation and job close‑out requirements. Represent the company as the direct customer contact; ensure customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems on site. Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on‑site installation and repairs, forecast issues, gather materials and synchronize work. Keep current on Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair of direct digital control systems. Enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company assets. Display teamwork and dedication by maintaining flexibility to work overtime, weekends and occasional overnight stays. What You Will Bring High School Diploma or equivalent, and typically 3‑5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls; technical school or formal training preferred. Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and working proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad). Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, with no major traffic violations in the past 3 years. Previous experience with DDC controls system preferred. Additional Requirements And Environmental Exposure Safely and legally operate a vehicle using a seat belt. Wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness and safety boots. Be able to twist trunk of your body 90° in each direction, squat and touch the floor with both hands, stand on concrete surfaces up to 4 hours, reach hands over head. Perform regular hand, finger, walking, stooping, kneeling and climbing ladder work; lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. frequently, up to 40 lbs. often, and occasionally more than 40 lbs. Use a ladder with a 375 lb. total weight limit while carrying equipment of 50 lbs. or less. Operate in confined access areas as small as 30” vertical x 45” horizontal and access rooftops with extension and/or fixed ladders at heights of 15’ to 20’, occasionally up to 50 feet. Work may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, risk of electrical shock, noisy equipment and other hazards. Compensation Hourly base pay: $23.80 – $43.85. Incentive and Sales Commission No incentive or sales commission. Safety Sensitive Role Yes – may require additional drug screening.
