Application Security Lead - INTL LATAM

Job Description
- Review and prioritize vulnerabilities from GitLab, SAST/DAST scans, and penetration tests.
- Partner with developers and cybersecurity teams to drive remediation efforts.
- Lead backlog reduction initiatives and track progress to completion.
- Coordinate remediation activities with the offshore support team.
- Promote secure coding practices and embed security into the release process.
- Provide updates, risk assessments, and remediation status to leadership.
- 5+ years of Application Security, Product Security, or DevSecOps experience.
- Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, penetration testing, and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience partnering with developers to remediate code-level security findings.
- Knowledge of secure SDLC, OWASP Top 10, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with Java and/or React environments.
- Ability to communicate security risks and remediation plans to technical teams and leadership. • Experience with GitLab security tools and vulnerability management.
- Experience with HackerOne or bug bounty programs.
- Exposure to AI-driven remediation tools (AWS Kiro or similar).
- Leadership experience.
- Experience working with offshore teams Insight Global
