Quality Supervisor, Optimus

What to Expect We are seeking an energetic, team-oriented people-person to be responsible for the performance of Quality technicians on shift. The supervisor will manage a team of technicians to ensure they perform at a high level while meeting the needs of the production floor and product quality. This individual will be responsible for Quality assurance related metrics for their shift. The supervisor will performance manage their team to generate the highest value from every employee while maintaining a high level of technical ability.
What You'll Do

• Guide and coordinate Technicians on shift, taking primary ownership for their training and ability to maintain conformance to quality procedures and specifications
• Drive improvement activities across the shift to increase team knowledge and capability
• Align with Quality engineering team to support incoming quality activities
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, defined plans, and written/verbal instructions
• Maintain quality performance metrics and drive issues to root cause solutions
• Audit manufacturing line against released manufacturing processes and procedures
• Provide coaching and training to technicians and inspectors, define goals and performance metrics

• Must understand general manufacturing processes, Quality methodologies, and team leadership
• Must be adaptable in work schedule (including compressed work week and night shift) and the working environment
• Effective verbal and written communications skills along with strong attention to detail, flexibility, and prioritization
• Capable of providing constructive feedback to subordinates
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information
• Multitasks and adapts to constant change
• Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 10+ hours per day, wear air purifying respirator as needed for specific tasks, Lift at least 10 -20 lbs on a regular basis, perform repetitive hand and wrist motions and sometimes may have to twist and bend body, Ability to climb ladders/stairs, Work in a loud environment

Expected Compensation $96,000 - $144,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
