Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead our center. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for early childhood education, and the ability to manage daily operations effectively. This role requires multitasking across various responsibilities, including staff supervision, parent communication, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the center, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for children.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of educators and support staff.
• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with developmental standards.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians.
• Ensure compliance with Missouri state licensing requirements and health regulations.
• Manage administrative tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and record-keeping.
• Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes collaboration and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Missouri Early Childhood Director Certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient in using administrative software and tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Missouri's child care licensing regulations.
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
• Ability to handle emergencies and unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
